Bioren, Inc.
Bioren has developed proprietary tools to design, discover and optimize new and existing drugs. Bioren’s platform technology dramatically reduces the time and cost associated with drug discovery, maximizes the performance of molecules prior to entering clinical development, strengthens the intellectual property protection of clinical/commercial candidates, and helps avoid royalties “stacking” issues. Bioren was sold to Pfizer, Inc. in August, 2005.
   
Cargo Technology, Inc.
Cargo Technology, based in San Diego, California, has developed a proprietary and superior alternative to Styrofoam boxes used to ship perishable cargo by expedited freight. The AirLiner product is an inflatable insulating liner that easily converts a cardboard box into a cooler.
